Theodora M. Makri is a multidisciplinary designer and artist passionate about the emotional power of spatial narratives and design activism. Her work spans architecture, installation art, video art, sound design, production design, graphic design, photography, and film production, all of which fuel her exploration of space as a dynamic stage for storytelling.

At the crossroads of architecture and art, she transcends traditional boundaries, crafting solutions inspired by visual arts, human studies, and design theory. Her work engages audiences through multisensory storytelling, evoking emotions and prioritizing ethical, humanitarian design.

Currently focused on creating narrative-driven spatial experiences, Theodora delves into experiential, event, and interior design. She is enhancing her skills through further education in interior design and hospitality and actively engages in seminars and workshops on sustainable practices. This reflects her commitment to ethical and environmentally conscious design.

Theodora's academic journey is as varied as her creative pursuits, with a bachelor's in Architecture( RIBA Part1), followed by a Master's at the AA School of Architecture (RIBA Part 2), and then a Master's in filmmaking at the London Film School, where she specialized in production design and directing. Her diverse background fuses architectural precision with cinematic storytelling, enabling her to use narrative as a powerful design tool. This allows her to craft emotional journeys that transform audience perceptions and experiences.
